At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 46 Wildwood Street in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim —suffering life-threatening injuries— was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on August 8, 2019. The victim has since been identified as Aquil Muhammad, 18, of Dorchester.

Investigation Update: At about 12:45 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2019, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 58 Percival Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located ballistic evidence and damaged motor vehicles. At about 12:54 AM, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a report of a walk-in gunshot victim at a local hospital. Officers arrived on scene and located a non-viable adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside of a motor vehicle. That victim has since been identified as Alfredo Centeio, 30, of Dorchester. A second male victim with apparent gunshot wounds was being treated inside of the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

One victim, who has since been identified as Christian Nunes, 20, of Dorchester, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene while the second victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
