Happy Retirement to BPD Civilian Peter O'Reilly!

On the last day of February 2018, we said "happy retirement and thank you for your service" to Peter O'Reilly, who hung up it up after 38 years of service as a civilian in Boston Police Operations. On his last day of work, many co-workers and past retirees came to wish him well, along with his wife, daughter, and sister.

Said Police Commissioner William Evans, "I was only a cadet when I met Peter! Since he's been here since 1980--nearly four decades--I can say this is a well-deserved retirement, and I wish him the very best."
