Commissioner Evans Honored to Partake in Candlelight Procession Honoring Those Lost on September 11, 2001

On Monday evening, September 11, 2017, a Prayer Service of Remembrance to honor and pay tribute to all military personnel and first-responders killed protecting and serving our great nation, not only on September 11, 2001, but all the days that have followed since was held at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage on Seaport Boulevard in South Boston. After the service, those gathered, including Police Commissioner William Evans, participated in a Candlelight Procession that began at the Shrine and concluded at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial. To all lost on that fateful day sixteen years ago, we promise to forever remember and never forget your service, sacrifice and heroism.
