At about 10:12 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2016, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a report of a person shot in the area of 36 Nazing Street. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his twenties, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Anthony Toombs, 24, of Dorchester.
Earlier today, at about 8:30 AM on Friday November 18, 2016, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested Antoiwane Davis, 23, of Dorchester, in the area of 3 Nazing Street. The suspect will appear in Roxbury District Court where he will be charged with Murder.
